Robert Half Financial Services are currently recruiting for an ETF Portfolio Management Associate role for a $40+bn AUM Investment and Trading firm based in midtown Manhattan New York. Our client requires 3+ years Portfolio Management or Trading experience within Asset Management or a Bank, with strong knowledge of ETFs, Mutual Funds, Index Funds, Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives (Futures, Options and Swaps). Advanced Excel experience required, knowledge of Eze Castle / Eze OMS is advantageous. The role is initially 5 days per week in the midtown Manhattan office, with potential to reduce to 4 days after settling in.
The ETF Portfolio Management Associate will support all daily trading and portfolio management functions associated with the suite of ETFs, including but not limited to: trade rebalances and trade execution. This position is heavily weighted towards indexed portfolio management with some occasional middle office operations duties.
Responsibilities
•
• Rebalance and manage a select group of index funds and leveraged ETFs in line with guidelines
• Supporting senior PMs and traders with daily portfolio management and trade rebalances
• Frequent interaction with multiple swap counterparties (large global banks) and broker dealers daily
• Maintaining and updating performance and trading models to ensure effective fund tracking and proper exposure
• Fielding various product related questions and inquiries throughout the trading day from accountants, brokers, custodians, authorized participants and market makers
• Assisting and contributing to new account set up, fund launches, product development and analysis
• Effectively communicate and interact with the portfolio managers and third parties on trade related queries
Occasional middle office operations cover may be required relating to:

• Researching and resolving trading discrepancies
• Collateral movements, margin posting
• Ensuring trades are booked accurately and in a timely fashion
• Reconciling fund positions, trades and cash movements with various trade support teams
Qualifications
•
• 3+ years Portfolio Management or Trading experience within Asset Management or a Bank
• Strong knowledge of ETFs, Mutual Funds, Index Funds, Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives (Futures, Options and Swaps)
• Experience trading international markets is preferred
• Advanced Excel and Bloomberg experience required. Python, R, SQL, VBA is advantageous
• Knowledge of Eze Castle / Eze OMS is advantageous
• Bachelor or Master Degree from a top rated university
